Events Center

Located on the sixth floor above THE RANCH Restaurant & Saloon, our Events Center features six private dining rooms to accommodate any occasion and any dining experience. THE RANCH Culinary Team creates menus that pair beautifully with unique and popular wines guaranteed to impress guests. Also home to our award-winning 10,000+ bottle Cellar, our sixth floor boasts expansive views of the city, Angel Stadium, Honda Center, and the Disneyland Resort® fireworks!

Assistant Events Coordinator

The Ranch Restaurant, Saloon & Event Center is an award-winning destination known for our exceptional dining, hospitality, and entertainment experiences. We are seeking a talented Assistant Events Coordinator to join our Events & Sales Team and help deliver unforgettable private events, banquets, and celebrations.

The Assistant Events Coordinator supports the Events & Sales Team by managing event inquiries, creating detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), coordinating with clients and staff, and ensuring successful on-site execution of events. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, guest-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

The following duties and responsibilities are representative of those typically performed. Note: this position may not perform all of these duties and/or may perform similar related tasks not listed here.

  • Maintain a warm, professional, and welcoming demeanor with all guests and clients.
  • Respond to event inquiries via phone and email.
  • Prepare event contracts, proposals, and BEOs.
  • Maintain event calendars and communicate availability with Managers and Chefs.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Team to stay current on seasonal offerings and menus.
  • Assist with event setup and on-site execution to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Complete event follow-up tasks, including invoicing, reporting, and thank-you notes.
  • Maintain deposit logs and other event documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Events Office as needed.
  • Run events when needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience (hospitality preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating private events or banquets.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills; confident and professional on the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field a plus.

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: Must have full availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
