Restaurant Manager

The Ranch Restaurant in Anaheim, California, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. This position is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff management, guest service excellence, financial oversight, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and hospitality.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment and values a healthy work-life balance. At The Ranch, we support a culture that promotes professional growth while maintaining an average 40–45 hour work week, with additional hours as needed to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise front-of-house team members.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the Chef and kitchen leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, cost controls, and financial performance metrics.
  • Enforce compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.
  • Control cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company policy.
  • Manage product inventory, purchasing, and vendor relations to ensure proper stock levels and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the restaurant's beverage program and cost of sales.
  • Schedule labor in alignment with business forecasts, ensuring guest satisfaction and labor cost objectives are achieved.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in daily opening and closing procedures, including Aloha POS reporting.
  • Actively monitor guest feedback and address concerns promptly to maintain exceptional guest experiences.
  • Possess strong menu and product knowledge to assist staff and guests.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in an upscale or fine dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, financials, and POS systems (Aloha experience preferred).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
  • ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.

Work-Life Balance:

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
