Located on the sixth floor above THE RANCH Restaurant & Saloon, our Events Center features six private dining rooms to accommodate any occasion and any dining experience. THE RANCH Culinary Team creates menus that pair beautifully with unique and popular wines guaranteed to impress guests. Also home to our award-winning 10,000+ bottle Cellar, our sixth floor boasts expansive views of the city, Angel Stadium, Honda Center, and the Disneyland Resort® fireworks!

Private Events Manager

The Private Events Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all banquet functions and private events throughout our property—including our sixth-floor banquet level and exclusive Saloon buyouts. This dynamic, hands-on role requires a highly organized, service-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and excels in both operations and client relations.

When events are not in progress, this individual will assist in managing operations within THE RANCH Restaurant or Saloon, supporting overall guest satisfaction and team success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of banquet and event operations for functions ranging from intimate gatherings of 20 guests to large-scale events of 265+.
  • Ensure flawless event execution by coordinating with culinary, service, and operations teams.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships to generate repeat clientele and new revenue opportunities.
  • Manage setup, service, and teardown of all banquet functions in compliance with company and local standards.
  • Collaborate with the Events & Sales team to review BEOs and ensure accuracy and timely communication of event details.
  • Supervise and train banquet staff to deliver exceptional hospitality and service consistency.
  • Support management coverage in THE RANCH Restaurant and Saloon as needed.
  • Leverage knowledge of the Anaheim area and local attractions to build and maintain networking connections and client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records, budgets, and reports using Microsoft Office and event management tools.
  • Uphold brand standards and ensure a high level of professionalism in all guest and vendor interactions.
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an upscale or fine dining environment with strong knowledge of full-service food & beverage operations.
  • Proven experience managing banquets or events for groups of 100+ guests.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented approach.
  • Advanced knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Aloha, Caterease required.
  • Full schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Existing client relationships within the hospitality, corporate, or entertainment sectors a plus.
  • The Venue

    Our sixth-floor banquet level features four unique event spaces accommodating between 20 and 265 guests, complete with bridal suites and an 18-seat classroom kitchen. In addition, select private buyouts within our Saloon, which can comfortably seat up to 260 guests, provide exclusive entertainment experiences for our clients.
