Assistant Manager

We are seeking a driven, hospitality focused Assistant Manager to support our leadership team and help maintain the high standards that define THE RANCH experience. This role plays a key part in daily operations, team support, and guest service excellence within our upscale dining environment.

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager and leadership team in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role assists with supervising front of house staff, maintaining service standards, and fostering a welcoming, professional environment for both guests and team members.

The ideal candidate is hands on, detail oriented, and thrives in a fast paced, high caliber restaurant setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the training, coaching, and daily supervision of front of house team members.
  • Assist with maintaining clear communication between the dining room and kitchen leadership.
  • Uphold all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.
  • Support inventory processes, product organization, and vendor coordination as directed.
  • Maintain working knowledge of the restaurant's beverage program and menu offerings.
  • Help manage labor needs by supporting schedule execution and monitoring floor coverage.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including Aloha POS functions and reporting.
  • Monitor guest feedback in real time and help resolve concerns to ensure exceptional experiences.
  • Lead by example, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and a culture of genuine hospitality.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of restaurant supervisory or lead experience; upscale or fine dining preferred.
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations and POS systems (Aloha experience a plus).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.

Pay rate: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
