THE RANCH Restaurant is looking for a professional line cook to deliver the highest quality food and service for our guests. Line cook duties will consist of assisting with all the daily tasks. Our ideal candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction!


  • Cooks and prepares a variety of upscale food products, including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces and stocks according to the company recipes, using a variety of equipment and utensils
  • Cook and prepare according to the daily prep list, utilizing company recipes and exact specifications at all times, while following the direction of the culinary leadership
  • Maintaining a solid menu knowledge and of all food products and skillfully applying culinary techniques with attention to detail regarding plate presentation and preparation
  • Execute food production and plating, according to stated spec and timing
  • Maintain the high level of food quality and standards established by the Executive Chef
  • Perform all essential duties during a lengthy, high-volume and high-pressure service
  • Coordinates and time orders with other kitchen operations. Request items needed to produce menu items
  • Execute food production and plating, according to stated spec and timing
  • Ensure that assigned work stations and equipment are clean and sanitary, clutter free and organized at all times
  • Follows all safety procedures for operating and cleaning machinery
  • Notifies Sous Chef of expected shortages
  • Sets-up, maintains and breaks down prep cook station
  • Follows all state and local health and food safety regulations
  • Demonstrate and promote The RANCH culture, always positively representing the company
  • Embrace teamwork within the restaurant, creating a positive work environment
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with their managers and their teammates


  • 2 year Culinary degree preferred with 1 year of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience (total of 3 years)
  • Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
  • Up to date sanitation classes
  • Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience in a fine dining kitchen a plus*
  • Sauteé and Broiler proficiency a plus*

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 2pm-10pm

Pay rate: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
