Saloon Manager

THE RANCH Saloon is looking for an energetic and qualified individual who is looking for an opportunity to fill the position of Saloon Manager. Our ideal candidate is an experienced restaurant or live entertainment venue manager with excellent customer service skills, who is friendly, hardworking, honest, passionate and ready to lead a team!

The Saloon Manager is responsible for overseeing all the saloon's operations, including but not limited to: managing, scheduling, and hiring staff, quality of service and food, supplies and equipment inventory, enforcing all policies and procedures, and maintaining the standards of THE RANCH Saloon while building and maintaining a relationship with our valued guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with service team to provide an overall exceptional experience through attentive service and rapport with our guests.
  • Monitor customer feedback to ensure all guests receive level of service associated with THE RANCH standards.
  • Manage and maintain safety and security standards, ensuring the well-being of our guests and employees.
  • Effectively train, coach, and supervise staff.
  • Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity; ensuring all positions are staffed accordingly.
  • Understand and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and health and safety guidelines.
  • Communicate and maintain a good working relationship with the Chef and kitchen staff.
  • Manage proper rotation of beverage product (FIFO).
  • Possess proficient opening and closing skills including pre-shifting and nightly Aloha reporting.
  • Clearly communicate all aspects of saloon operations
  • Maintain full understating of product menu knowledge.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash, handling, and reconciliation procedures in accordance with saloon policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a strong role model who motivates and inspires employees.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail; and is well organized in all aspects of job performance.
  • Demonstrate genuine hospitality, provide timely, accurate, detail oriented and friendly service.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 21+ years of age.
  • 5 years Restaurant Management experience
  • Prior experience in upscale hospitality
  • Prior experience in a Live Music/Entertainment Venue preferred.
  • ServeSafe and RBS Certified
  • Availability to work nights, including weekends/holidays.
  • Alcohol and wine knowledge a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Aloha POS Software
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
  • Ability to move comfortably and freely throughout the establishment
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment
  • Ability to operate a computer including POS software

Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Evenings, additional days/nights according to the business needs with a minimum of 40 Hours per week.

Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
